  1. Thank you for making life in the kitchen a little easier. I have been using Trader Joe’s Morello cherries for years but went about making the pie filling a little more labor intensive. How simple to dump everything in and stir. I’ve used your method twice now and have had excellent success. I wish I could give you many more ‘likes.’

  2. Hi Noreen! I have a quick question. Would this method work with an Oregon brand can of Boysenberries? Because I have a can of whole Boysenberries in light syrup and it only has Boysenberries, water, and Cane sugar. Please let me know when you get a chance.

  3. Dang was wondering about canning this, but see TKH's comment and you answered this….buggers…would have been great idea to have it done ahead of time.

  4. Noreen, you did it again! I've been trying to find new ways to use up my canned cherries from last year.  Great idea!  This will also go great on top of your 'chocolate snack cake', which I have made three of since your posting.  Now when I make something new, my family asks, "Did Noreen make this, too?"  LOL!

  5. YES!!! Cherry pie is my favorite! 🙂  Following up on +TheKneady Homesteader comment..could you can the filling (with out cornstarch) and add it later on when it is being used? Or would that not work well?  (still new to cooking and baking 🙂  Thanks in advance!)

  6. Fabulous! I was just getting a recipe together for cheese cake and this is just what I need for a fruit topping.
I'm so glad you posted this.

  7. OMG, I laughed so much because the "next" video and your "thank you" video overlapped.  lol  You're too cute Noreen!  I know it was probably an oversight, but still…..  😀
