  1. It is a pestle – a heavy tool with a rounded end, used for crushing and grinding substances such as spices or drugs, usually in a mortar (the "white bowl" is the mortar)
    I think the one that was shown in the video was actually porcelain.

  2. Thank you very much for this video. I just wanted to be sure I knew what a "poultice" was and if I was making one right (turns out I was) 😀

    I've been using a super effective poultice to get rid of facial damage (such as reddening skin areas and dark/possibly infected spots) that consists of Natural Tea Tree Oil (organic), activated charcoal powder and UMF Manuka Honey (from New Zealand…UMF is 22+). It's good to know about the poultice you made in the video too; I may use it later on! Thanks!

  3. My mother used to make a ginger poultice for chest congestion. It always worked like a charm and I have been looking for a poultice recipe forever on the internet and couldn't find one. Thank you so much for the recipe!
